Inevitably, everyone looks to Paris always for fashion inspiration. Just like me, but I find it hard to admit that, and that I almost never feel like I get it just right. But then again I am an emotional dresser. One day full leather and suede, another eyelet whites to the ground with a mountain hat. It is more about catching a moment when you travel though. And see what you gain from that.. See what I mean? (Below).
When in doubt, I always go for denim. There are so many ways you can wear it, and denim just has this natural trend appeal how ever you choose to style it. Now that its officially ok to tie shirts around the waist for style purposes too there are even more ways to let go with those amazing denim 80’s and 70’s looks.
I really like to add some luxe elements to my denim outfits, like stacks of gold bracelets and rings. I also tend to add a lot of shoe game, especially if I am doing a double denim look, or break things off with a pair of leather trousers or a jacket.
Super easy and low risk!
Here are our favourites!
Boyish DOUBLE DENIM
After just over a week of traveling to Stockholm and Amsterdam to seek inspiration, we have now landed to gather everything we collected during our time away.
We wanted to get inspired post all the fashion week madness and we are so happy to be back to report on some new trends coming our way this fall, especially after stopping by the home country of Sweden to see some familiar faces as well.
Meanwhile, back in LA our new website has been in the works for us and we are beyond excited to get our hands on the last tweaks this week so we can get ready for our new launch as soon as possible!
A lot has happened in a short space of time, but you have to start somewhere when things are piling up!
Much Love // Re.
Stay tuned for some major looks!
Ok , So I usually don’t have a lot to say about actresses when it comes to style. However we absolutely adore Clemence!
She just has that effortless parisian style that we all try to achieve from time to time but never really get there. Her signature style is quite romantic and she often wears liberty flower prints combined with a lot of leather and suede.
One of our favorite looks this spring season is her long skirt with a leather biker and matching biker boots which she carries so incredibly well with that wavy blonde bob!
Clemence also stunns in her tomboy style thus she often wears boots and tailored blazers with a pleated trouser to shows, sometimes with just a lace top or a simple white shirt to keep it classy.
Another way we have seen her is in a signature Chanel tweed piece combined with a mini skirt strutting around the European fashion shows with a sky high heel to stay true to her super french heritage.
Either outfit, we love her sense of delicacy and cannot wait to catch her next time in Paris!
Stay tuned for more “Style Stealer” action!
As we all know now, the 70’s influence is officially everywhere and you couldn’t avoid it if you tried. However, it is not quite the average 70’s dressing that is all over the runways, its a fresh and updated version with a minimal approach this season, so I wanted to channel a daily look which still touches on the super trend but in a more simple way.
I found this yellow cashmere jumper just a few days before we took off to New York in a consignment shop called “Ampersand” near larchmont in LA.
I know it is a little bit to hot in LA right now to wear 100% cashmere but I just fell in love with the color and the fact that Its slightly cropped. It works really well with a high waisted trouser and a pump for everyday office or like my days running around to meetings around town 😉
