Welcome to the second part of the mini-series of our color chart!
This selection is a continuation of the previous chart we made with dreamy pastels and foggy shades with some important accent hues.
The lilac’s and baby blue’s will likely been seen with the yellows and golds thus emphasis is mainly on the 70’s look this season. The grey-casted mint green has been seen both in print and solids in this seasons resort collections and will have a great impact on the summer and transition months as well.
Another important element in this chart, is the gold hues we will likely be seeing a lot of this spring. You could already see tendencies of gold in some resort collections and previous fall couture pieces in shimmery platinums and lame’ threads to inspire the next coming collection.
We are looking forward to seeing how this trend will transpire into the streets of LA when we hit the warmer months.

This fall, the color mustard is everywhere, yet its not one of our main hues for the season. Sometimes we add colours from our “secondary” color library to the main chart further into the season. This is what we decided to do with our “misty ocra” or mustard as I like to call it since its more in a grey scale than the more traditional yellow that is made in a green cast.
This color does very well in form of heavy materials, such as wool and thick yarn knits in coats and winter sweaters, however I love a saturated mustard trouser with a front pleat or a side line. Combine this color with other saturated darker contrasting hues or a light nude/beige for the ultimate fall 14′ look.10646966_857825334250176_8389711719039519186_n01-moscow-fashion-week-street-style_001937b670cff96a7871998175130a417d42572ee52110c1d06505d861b5d7b35be_MON0226_MON0256_MON028324b57dd88edf9f04274da20c0c63033bc13f9d1349623f38b060eb9e22d9dad6milan-fashion-week-spring-summer-2015-street-style-1-1931499d2847d5894b9dbc4453070243b8Street looks from Stockholm, Milan, Russia and Paris.

Fall has finally come to Los Angeles, and we’re super excited to see it! Temperatures are falling and we can put our jean cut-offs to rest in the back of our closets. Its time to bring out the trusted wool blends, full lengths, knits and booties. This surprisingly often also means blacks, browns, blues and camels as fall and winter pieces are more on the expensive side and who would spend $500 on a bright pink cashmere knit? Luckily we’re here to help you blend up that darkness with one of our favourite colours for fall / winter 2014. Red. In classic burgundy or new and interesting cranberry. It never fails. Every so classy paired with all kinds of transition pieces like a sheer skirt or Mary Jane flats, floral t-shirts and prints. And when the real cold rolls in, it goes beautifully with classic knits you already have in grey, black and camel. To spice it up, pair successfully with all kinds of circus like patterns, metallics and especially black & white stripes. Its so interesting and ever evolving that we’re considering letting it become one of the new staples in our closet. Who doesn’t like red? Its the colour of love, and it is here to stay. Just as we like it at RE.

On the subject of the skater skirt and how to dress sporty in every day life we put together this outfit to show a simple and fun use of the two. The wedge sneaker gives this outfit a bit of elegance and the japanese patterned bomber jacket a sophisticated edge. The crop top and the skirt are essentially sporty but being a simple strong pink and black they conceal the sporty fabrics a bit which makes the whole thing look come together nicely. A skater skirt, a bomber jacket and a pair of wedge sneakers is all you need to pull off this look. They can be find at any second hand store and are super versatile pieces in your closet. Simply reload and evolve.

Long, flowing lace skirts and sheer, second skin like dresses roamed the runways around the world for fall/winter 2014. Although most of them seem more fit for the red carpet or a photo shoot, there’s no reason not get inspired by the vintage silhouettes,  romantic textures and colors. Fall/Winter 2014 brings earthy glamour and jewel tones as well as edgy patterns and soft romantic movement. We find this one of the greatest trends for fall and have put together a few suggestions on how you can take it to the streets.
